Greensboro Science Center Announces 2023 Pajama Jam Date

The Greensboro Science Center is excited to announce that Pajama Jam, the center’s annual after-hours pajama party, will return on Saturday, March 18, 2023. The event is aimed at families with children aged 12 and younger and includes face painting, evening exploration of the aquarium and zoo, Talks with Tai, Indiana Bones, and refreshments courtesy of Chick-fil-A.

What is Pajama Jam?

Pajama Jam is a fun and family-friendly conservation fundraiser hosted by the Greensboro Science Center. It gives families with young children a unique opportunity to explore the center’s zoo and aquarium after-hours, wear family-friendly pajamas, and take part in fun activities, including Talks with Tai, Indiana Bones, face painting, and more.

What to Expect at the Event

This year, Pajama Jam will have a bigger footprint than in previous years, with indoor and outdoor activities available for families to enjoy. Guests will have access to the aquarium and zoo after-hours and get to participate in fun activities, including Talks with Tai and Indiana Bones. Families are encouraged to wear family-friendly pajamas, and face painting will be available. Refreshments will be provided by Chick-fil-A, making it a perfect evening out for the whole family.

Support for Conservation

Efforts Proceeds from Pajama Jam support the Greensboro Science Center’s conservation fund, which helps to preserve species and habitats through on-site programs, community awareness, field studies, and fundraising for local and global conservation efforts. Every ticket purchased will help the Greensboro Science Center to continue its conservation efforts to preserve and protect wildlife.

Ticket Information

Pajama Jam tickets are $15 for Greensboro Science Center members ages three and older, and $18 for non-members aged three and older. Children aged two and younger are admitted for free. Given that capacity is limited, the Greensboro Science Center recommends that guests register in advance. Tickets go on sale Monday, February 20, 2023, and can be purchased through the center’s website.
